Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

The LORD remembers. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Remember me, O LORD, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation, Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage. You remember us in our weakness. Your faithful love endures forever. You saved us from our enemies. Your faithful love endures forever. You give food to every living thing. Your faithful love endures forever. Yes, I give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever. Amen. The LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore He rises to show you compassion, for the LORD is a just God. Blessed are all who wait for Him. God remembered Noah and all the animals and livestock that were with him in the ark. He also remembered his sacred promise to his servant Abraham. God remembered Rachel’s plight and answered her prayers by enabling her to have children. Come on....The Israelites continued to groan under their burden of slavery. They cried out for help, and their cry rose up to God. God heard their groaning, and he remembered his covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The LORD remembers! Meditate this: One of the criminals who hung there beside Jesus hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Oh Jesus, we deserve the just penalty for our sins but by your grace and mercy on the Cross we have been saved. We all were under the same sentence of sin and death. But you have raised us up all with you into the newness of eternal life! I know one day you will remember me when I enter into paradise by your blood. Praise God! You will remember me when I come into your Kingdom praising your holy name!
