Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man

Ponder this: What you sow in your heart and will reap in the physical world. And what you're doing in the physical world is shaping your heart. Guard your heart above all else, for out of it are the issues of life. So many things are influencing you and molding your heart. Whether it be people, politics, and religion our hearts will reflect in the flesh what we been thinking and learning. If you follow your selfish desires, you will harvest destruction, but if you follow the Spirit, you will harvest eternal life. Amen. We need to be constantly sharpened by Holy Spirit to keep our hearts bearing the fruit of righteousness in our lives. Reading the Living Word and stay in relationship with Christ will keep the world from shaping us in its image. God made great and marvelous promises, so his nature would become part of us. Then we could escape our evil desires and the corrupt influences of this world. Do your best to improve your faith by adding goodness, understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God, concern for others, and love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. So, let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Being shaped not by this physical world but by the Kingdom of Heaven itself.
