Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man
My Alpha and Omega. Jesus you are my Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end of my life. You have the first and last claim on my life. Amen. At one time I was foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. I lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating others. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved me, not because of righteous things I had done, but because of his mercy. He saved me through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. Amen. I have a new life hidden in Christ that I am living. I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So, I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I have been born again into the hands of my Heavenly Father, Abba daddy knows the length of my days that they are numbered till I see Him my LORD and my God face to face. You and I have died with Christ, and he has set us free from the spiritual powers of this world. Christ suffered here on earth. Now you and I must be ready to suffer as he did, because suffering shows that you have stopped sinning. It means you have turned from your own desires and want to obey God for the rest of your life. You have already lived long enough like people who don't know God. You were immoral and followed your evil desires. You went around drinking and partying and carrying on. In fact, you even worshiped disgusting idols. Now your former friends wonder why you have stopped running around with them, and they curse you for it. But they will have to answer to God, who judges the living and the dead. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. A new self, which is being renewed in the knowledge after the image of its creator. Born of water and the Spirit, reborn not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God! He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we would be a kind of first fruits of His creation. Amen. I am certain that God, who began the good work within you and me, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. So, I must count myself dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. For He knows the day I was born into this sinful world. He knows the day I took my first breath of Holy Spirit. And Jesus knows the day I will take my last breath in this world and be in eternity with Him. My very life and existence depends on His life and love for me. Jesus intercedes for all and works all things together for our good. Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the LORD, the First and the Last. I alone am he.” See now that I am He; there is no God besides Me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal, and there is no one who can deliver from My hand. Amen. Jesus, my life, my spirit are in your hands. Hold me close to your chest so I can feel the peaceful heartbeat of heaven on earth!! I belong to my beloved LORD Jesus, and his desire is for me. If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
