Learn to live humble so you can have more to give. LORD Jesus, make me absolutely honest and don't let me be too poor or too rich. Give me just what I need. Amen. Many of us have no margin to give because we are in debt to our eyeballs, or we live to please our flesh. What's even sadder is there are some who have plenty of resources but cap there giving because of religiosity and hypocrisy. You can practice the principle of tithing and miss out relationship with God in Christ. It becomes a transaction over time than free non compulsive giving to God and your neighbor. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. Amen. For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. Now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit. Amen. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. "And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need, and plenty left over to share with others. As a Christian you can be poor but not stingy. You can be rich but not greedy. The sign of a Christian is not when your loaded with money it's when your loaded with gratefulness and generosity. Generosity has nothing to do with what you have but how much you love. Yes, how much you love God with what you have. Money is a test. God says this is the only place he will test you. Do not test Him anywhere else. It's easy to honor God with your lips. Honor the LORD with your possessions. A practical atheist is when you believe that God exist, but you live like He doesn't. You are robbing God the opportunity to bless you when you don't honor him with your increase. Put God first principle is important to our Christian Walk. The concept of tithing is just the beginning stage of putting God first. Imagine how much you could give if you lived humbly, justly, and loved mercy before God. The extra money and time you could have to give to the Kingdom of God. The bigger house is not necessary, you have a mansion in heaven prepared for you. Live humbler and more frugal so you can help those who don't have a roof over their head now. This so that both you and those people you help will enjoy mansions in heaven as well because of the love and government of Jesus. The streets in heaven are paved in gold. Money and gold on earth are a test for us here on earth. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
