Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man
Old furniture. I saw some old furniture by the side of the road. It wasn't that bad just needed to be restored and made beautiful again. Amazing what people throw away because they have no room for it or just want something new. I love that our God is not wasteful and uses us broken vessels for his glory. Instruments of righteousness restored from the brokenness of sin. Many of us have been left spiritually dead by the enemy wishing we can be made new again. Jesus is the great restorer and finisher. He picks us up from our muck and miry and refines us and renews us. Cleans us up and restores us to his very own image, His law written on hearts. Soon our old furniture lives we will be transformed into a pillar in the house of God. Imagine how beautiful the dwelling of God will be with all the pillars of God in Christ restored and in the Fathers house. Rev. 3:12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
