Proverbs of a 41 yr. old man

Some people live for the fortune. Some people live just for the fame. Some people live for the power.

Some people live just to play the game of life. Some people think that the physical things define what's within. I've been there before and that life's a bore. So full of the superficial. We followed the ways of this world and obeyed the devil. He rules the world, and his spirit has power over everyone who doesn't obey God. All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. Again, some people want it all, they want all this world can give. Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. Listen, I don't want nothing at all, if it ain't all Jesus. To live is Christ and to die is gain. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. Some people want diamond rings. I just want the crown of life to lay it at Jesus feet. Some just want everything But everything means nothing if you don't have purpose and life. God has set eternity in hearts and we find real Spirit and Life in Christ!

Some people search for a fountain of Promises forever young, I Just want the Fountain of living water flowing with in my soul. Those who believe in Jesus will never die, streams of Holy Spirit flowing from within. Some people need three dozen roses

And that's the only way to prove you love them. Jesus gave his blood and body for us to show God is how much He loves us. Hand me the world on a silver platter and what good would it be? With no one to share, with no one who truly cares for me? God gives his grace and mercy on a silver platter. The LORD knows the very hair's on my head, he truly only cares.

Some people want it all. I don't want nothing at all if it ain't all Jesus. You can have this world but just give me Jesus. You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands. How wonderful are your gifts to me; how good they are! I praise the Lord, because he guides me, and in the night my conscience warns me. I am always aware of the Lord's presence; he is near, and nothing can shake me. And so I am thankful and glad, and I feel completely secure, because you protect me from the power of death. I have served you faithfully, and you will not abandon me to the world of the dead. You will show me the path that leads to life; your presence fills me with joy and brings me pleasure forever.
