Proverbs of a 41 yr old man
I want to live again. Oh God I want to live again. After my time has passed in this land of the living, I want to live again in the new heavens and the new earth. What a wonderful world it will be! There are things I love about this world that I hope to enjoy in the next life. Things like fresh clean water and hearing it's rushing power. The smell of green grass and birds chirping in the morning. The animals like lions roaring from their rest and sheep grazing in eagerness and freedom. I love seeing people share a laugh together. People smiling at each other as they pass by saying God bless you. There is much joy when you see people sing together and truly harmonize with both voice and heart. Love seeing the faces of people touched by gifts and sharing meals together.
God has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. But look around this world He has made everything beautiful in its time. Even death has been conquered along with the grave. “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us, none can compare to You, if I proclaim and declare them, they are more than I can count. Look! I see a new heaven and a new earth. I see the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. Then at last I see no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the world will enter the city in all their glory. Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there. And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Amen. I want to close with this: No eye has seen, no ear has heard or even imagined what the LORD has prepared for those who love Him. Imagine how much better relationships will be when we don't have nothing to hide and we can live at peace and safety with our neighbor. No killing, stealing, coveting, and no tears of pain and sorrow. Just the pure love of God giving eternal life to everyone. I want to live again. LORD Jesus take me with you. You said those who believe in you will never die. I believe! I believe your love is better than life!
