Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Oh Lord, help me to never seek a crown for my reward is giving glory to You, even if I am doing well and prosperous. My reward is knowing you Jesus and receiving more and more of your presence in my life. The LORD has rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. Trial and tribulation attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the LORD supported me. He has led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. The LORD has dealt with me according to His Righteousness; according to the cleanness of his hands he has rewarded me. Please light the fire that once burnt bright and clear. Replace the lamp of my first love that burns with holy fear. I want to take Your word and shine it all around. But first, help me just to live it, LORD. This would be enough, your reward is your presence always.
