Safe with Him

Good morning Brothers, Happy Monday! God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to thank God for waking you up this morning. Give thanks with a grateful heart. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; but they were kept from recognizing him.(Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭15‬-‭16‬). Let’s sing, Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flow'rs before Thee, Hail Thee as the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, Drive the dark of doubt away; Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day! Today’s verse is from Psalms 16:9-10. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. When life feels overwhelming or the world seems extra dark, there's an ultimate security that comes from trusting God. Fix your eyes on the God who goes before you —which also means loving the people He loves. If you're looking for ultimate security, know that you can't be good enough, successful enough, or amazing enough to earn it for yourself. God alone is the keeper of your soul, and you can be confident in Him. Who else needs to hear that real peace, joy, and security can only be found in Him? And who's going to tell them? God loves you.
