The Importance of Unity

Good morning Brothers, Happy Sabbath! Praise God from whom all blessings flow. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to rest today, tomorrow is not promised. Let’s sing, All my hope on God is founded; He doth still my trust renew, Me through change and chance He guideth, Only good and only true. God unknown, He alone. Calls my heart to be His own! Today’s verse is from 1 Corinthians 1:10. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. In a chaotic and divided world, sometimes the word "unity" can sound like something irrelevant, something that just can't work in the broken world we live in. Division is nothing new! Salvation is from Christ alone. Without Christ, there is no unity. But under Christ, we can be united in a way that the world has never seen or understood. In this world of fighting and division, the body of Christ gets to show the power of the Gospel. Let’s strive to be united, focused on Christ and only Christ. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
