The Road to Scripture
Good morning Brothers. Happy Tuesday! God loves you. I love you. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Take a moment to pray for someone, God will hear and answer your prayer. Let’s sing, I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold; I’d rather be His than have riches untold; I’d rather have Jesus than houses or land; I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand: Than to be the king of a vast domain or be held in sin’s dread sway! I’d rather have Jesus than anything this world affords today. Today’s verse is from Acts 8:35. Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. Everytime we open God's Word, we hold a treasure in our hands. God’s word has led many generations! How can we comprehend the nuances, the context, all the many stories and teachings within God's Word? Take a moment to intentionally dive in and ask yourself: Do I understand what l am reading? As you do so, seek Jesus and ask God how can this be applied to your life? How can it transform me? You aren't alone on your Bible journey. Just like God sent Philip to teach the man from Ethiopia, he often puts people around us who we can learn from. Let’s remember that! God loves you. Have a blessed day.
