The Ruler of Everything

Good morning Brothers, Happy Monday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. The weekend is over, thank God for his continued forgiveness and for blessing us even though we don’t deserve it. Let’s sing, Come, Thou almighty King, Help us Thy name to sing, Help us to praise! Father all glorious, O'er all victorious, Come, and reign over us, Ancient of Days! Come, Thou incarnate Word, Gird on Thy mighty sword, Our prayer attend; Come, and Thy people bless, And give Thy Word success; Spirit of holiness, On us descend! Today’s verse is from 1 Chronicles 29:11. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Everything on earth and in heaven ultimately belongs to God, and regardless of what happens in the world, God is still the ruler over everything. He is the One who created everything that exists, so He is the only one who is truly great and powerful. This is why God is deserving of all praise and glory for His greatness and power. God is not some lofty ruler who makes decisions in a far off place, but He is present in the lives of those who call Him Lord. So take some time today, God loves you. Have a blessed day.
