The Story God is Writing

Good morning Brothers, Happy Friday. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to thank God for another year! God didn’t come to establish a religion, but to institute a relationship. Let’s sing, Silent night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright; Round yon virgin mother and Child! Holy Infant, so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace. Today’s verse is from Luke 1:46-47. And Mary said: My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Mary had quite the unique journey to motherhood. She could have easily felt lonely or isolated, but she was not alone in the story God was writing. Mary's relative Elizabeth and her husband Zechariah prayed and asked God for a child. After many years, God answered their prayers. When an angel told Mary she would give birth to Jesus, the Savior of the world, she went straight to Elizabeth, who was a few months along in her own miraculous pregnancy. Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three months. They celebrated the work of God together. How does Mary's story encourage you to trust God?
