Undeserved

Good morning Brothers, Happy Sunday! Praise God for waking you up this first day of the week. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to call a friend or family member, tomorrow is not promised. Let’s sing, I hear the Saviour say, Thy strength indeed is small; Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in Me thine all in all. Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow! Today’s verse is from 1 Thessalonians 5:15. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. When someone hurts you or, worse, hurts somebody that you love, revenge can seem appealing. After all...They were mean, They lied, They did the unthinkable. They deserve to be punished, right? You think they deserve a consequence that will not only help them learn, but will be just as severe as the inflicted wounds. And yet— God sees things differently. God's ways might not always be easy, but they can always be trusted. When we choose forgiveness, love, peace and reconciliation can flourish. We deserve God's wrath but, instead, He's offered us His unconditional love. So let's honor His sacrifice by treating others the way He treated us. "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. God loves you. Have a blessed day.

It is hard to not retaliate and repay. But God is the great revenger! The bible says leave room for God wrath. Being patient isn't easy. I think of Jacob and Laban, God spoke to Laban and stop him from doing harm to Jacob.
