Who Are You Living For?
Good morning Brothers, Happy Friday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. With a couple days left on holiday break, I pray for all the students and teachers heading back to school next Monday! God loves you. I love you. Thank God for this restful holiday break. Let’s sing, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there’s just something about that name, Master, Saviour my Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Let all heaven and earth proclaim! Kings and kingdoms shall all pass away, but there’s something about that name! Today’s verse is from Galatians 1:10. Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Do you ever feel like you struggle to change? Who are you living for? Saul's encounter with Jesus began a radical transformation in His life. No longer was he interested in making life difficult for followers of Jesus, but he was eager to join them! Paul no longer cared about gaining the approval of important people or being highly regarded. God's transforming power took a strong opponent to Jesus made him a strong advocate for the Gospel! Today, remember that the same God who transformed Saul into Paul is alive and active! And, He wants to help you. Bring the areas where you're struggling to change before Him in prayer-and watch God work! God loves you. Have a blessed day.
